COEX Artium SUM Store

This is all you ever wanted if you are an SM fan. It is a 6-floor building of you SMTown dream. Equipped with a store that sells all kinds of SMTown goods, a cafe with (overpriced) snacks and drinks, with signatures of various idols on the tables and chairs, as well as lots of things to look at, the SMTown Studio (if you want to go in, you have to make a reservation. Try do this in advance, it seems to be booked like a month ahead), and the SMTown theater where you can see “School Oz”, SM’s hologram musical (it’s really fun, I recommend it! ^^)

So this is really quite easy to get to! It’s not really IN the COEX mall, but it’s attached to it, so you can go to the COEX and you’ll find it.

Get on the green line, Line 2, and get off Samseong Station (삼성역), and then just follow signs for the COEX. It’s attached to the station and it is the biggest underground shopping mall in Korea, so it’s pretty hard to miss. But if you can’t find the signs (I promise they’re everywhere) you can go towards Exits 5 or 6 (I think 6 is the exact one).

Once you go out the exit, you should be outside for a bit, and you will see the building directly in front of you, on the other side of the courtyard place you’re in. It’s tall and covered silver letters and shapes and names of SM groups and also says “SMTOWN” in huge lettering on it haha.

Make sure you take the elevator up to the 6th floor (the only way to get there) where there is a Tom N Toms cafe, and there’s a big opening n that floor that you can look down onto the 5th floor, and I think there might be alternate entrances to the theater on the 6th floor. Also, if you want a 3D figurine of an SM idol made (for 300,000 won) or a figurine of YOU and your favorite SM idol together (600,000 won) you can get that made up on the 6th floor.
